Social Bookmarks with Google Anaytics accounting

You will need to know what social buttons are being clicked on and which of your site's pages are drawing the most audience.

We decieded to put the power in your hands by extending the gadget to optionally allow you to enter your site's unique domain ID from Google Anayltics.

Begin Tracking Your Social Bookmark Shares

The process of enabling tracking with our gadget involves (2) two configuration changes:
  1. Enabling the feature
  2. Entering your analytics tracking code

What is my Tracking Code?

In Google Analytics, each unique website domain or sub-domain you add to your account is tracked in a separate profile and assigned a separate domain ID.

Analytics domain IDs take the form of:
UA-123456-1

Where can I find the ID specific to my site?

If you are already using Google Analytics tracking code on your site, then find the ID by these methods:
  • You can easily view page source of your site to find the snipplet code
  • Log-in to Google Anayltics to locate the ID that appears next to your specific site profile
  • You may also wish to create a new tracking source just for this applet

Don't have a Google Analytics account?

In order to use Google Analytics, you must be signed in with a registered Google Account email address and password. Create a Google Account here. However, just having a Google account does not automatically grant you access to Analytics. First, you must register for Google Analytics, a one-time, free simple process.
